Our Posters

If the stats on our posters are shocking, it's because the reality of abortion is shocking. Here we have all of our posters, the explanation behind them, and sources.

"In England, 1 in 5 babies are aborted"

More than 200,000 babies are aborted in Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) each year. According to official statistics 1 in every 5 babies are aborted.

"A Licence To Kill?"

The Irish Government has been kind enough to tell us what sort of system they will put in place if the 8th is repealed. Repealing the 8th will give the Irish government a licence to kill.

"In Britain, 90% of Babies With Down Syndrome Are Aborted"

In England 90% of all of those children diagnosed with Down’s syndrome in the womb will be aborted, purely because they have DS.

In 2013, 71 children with DS were aborted after 21 weeks, which is to say they were aborted at a point so far in pregnancy they may have survived had they simply been delivered early.

"It's in the legislation."

The government’s proposed legislation will allow abortion up to 6 months if there is a threat of ‘serious harm’ to the mental health of the mother, but the bill doesn’t actually say what serious harm actually is.

Dr Peter Boylan has said that he considers a risk serious if a woman says she considers a risk to be serious, which is to say Dr Peter Boylan supports abortion on demand and believes this bill will allow abortion on demand up to 6 months.

"Real Compassion Doesn't Kill. Vote No."

Abortion is the destruction of human life. We can be moved by the hard cases, but we are not voting on abortion for the hard cases, we are voting on one of the most liberal abortion regimes in the world.

Hundreds of doctors and nurses have come out and said that the 8th amendment has never stopped them saving the life of a pregnant woman.

"Preborn babies will have NO rights"

The Supreme Court has said that the constitution, without the 8th amendment, will offer no constitutional rights, at all, to the unborn.

The constitution is the place for the most fundamental rights afforded to Irish citizens; what could be more fundamental than deciding who is human, and thus worthy of protection, and who is not quite human enough?

If you vote yes your vote will help strip the unborn of their constitutional rights. Vote no to protect her.

"If Killing An Unborn Baby at 6 Months Bothers You, Then Vote No."

The Government have said exactly what laws they will bring in if the 8th is repealed, and they plan to legalise abortion until ‘viability’ on vague health grounds. That’s abortion to 6 months.

"Six Months is Horrific"

The government’s legislation will allow abortion up to 6 months where there is a risk of ‘serious harm’ to the mental health of the mother, but the bill doesn’t actually say what a ‘serious harm’ is, nor how likely a risk must be before an abortion can performed.

Dr Peter Boylan has said that he considers a risk serious if a woman says she considers a risk to be serious, which is to say Dr Peter Boylan supports abortion on demand and believes this bill will allow abortion on demand up to 6 months.

"97% of abortions are healthy babies"

In England and Wales 97% of abortions are permitted on grounds of mental grounds, meaning that the babies aborted are perfectly healthy.

Even Ann Furedi, the head of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, has admitted that ‘women lie about being at risk of mental breakdown and doctors lie about believing him’.

The legislation the government has said it will bring in should the 8th be repealed will allow abortion up to 6 months on mental health grounds, just like England and Wales.
